Ive wanted an orange 69 since I was 11, it took till 39 but I finally did.
It was a decent driver, but I parked it for the winter and decided to redo the seats and carpet. Well you know how that can go sometimes....I went thru the whole interior, chassis, engine, and did a touch-up and buff on the body.It is still not finished , it is a very nice driver now, and I plan to enjoy this phase for a few years.Eventually it will see a big block replacing the still original engine, which will go into storage.A strip to bare glass and paint is also in the plans.
I am enjoying the time warp 70s motion /street machine look, and my biggest trip is seeing others reaction on the road.It definitely takes people back to a better time.For now , I enjoy driving it too much to tackle the next phase.
