1989 Coupe - First things first: The custom candy flame paint job was done by Jesse Pritchett at J&J Customs (301-373-3334) in Mechanicsville, MD. Outside a Motorsport body kit and custom twin turbo hood really updates the look along with the chrome 18" RPM deep dish wheels and 24 karat gold emblems.
Under the hood is a forced air induction kit, modified mass air flow sensor and Holley 58mm throttle body, competition cam and roller rockers. The computer has a Hypertech Stage 2 chip. The exhaust has Hooker Super Competition Headers with 3" straight pipes going out the back.
The inside has been completely redone all black with new leather, carpet, door and dash panels. The stereo system starts with a Kenwood motorized 7" touch screen and a separate Kenwood digital equalizer, power is from 2 chromed Rockford Fosgate amps, and speakers are Polk Momo 6-1/2" separates in the doors and 6x9 3 ways in the hatch, Subs are (2) Rockford Punch Stage 2 DVC's (This system cranks!).
Power is supplied by a chrome 140 amp HO alternator and 2 capacitors for extra juice. I bought this car completely stock in 2000 and haven't looked back.
