Lonewolf, I just updated my profile and tried to list all the mods that were done as well as what I have done. It has also had the heads ported and polished and "cc'd"
I also understand from the previous owner he had it all balanced and blueprinted as well.
You mean that your speedo doesn't show the jump from 85 - 150?
When you hit 150 it shows it in white letters and I believe it shows the jump on the green scale. I have seen 162 so far but that has been it for me so far.

Very nice 1986 Corvette. I have a 1987 that I too am working on. Not restore to original as I am old school and like to make my cars more personalized. I am wondering how you got 430 ponies out of a factor speced 245 hp L98? What engine mods were done other than what you have listed? The best picture is the "Life Begins At 150" especially since the speedo only goes to 85 as seen. All pictures are very nice as is the car and a very nice touch. I can see your pride in the car itself and what you have.

Thanks Lambo,
I got it for my wife and mostly all the work was already done by second owner, I have just tinkered and turned a gemstone into a jewel. We don't get very good City mileage on it but at cruise around 65 - 70 on canyon roads or the freeway it will grab 27 m.p.g. all afternoon. Bryan put an inch block between the M. P. I. and I polished and dremeled it with a swirl cut, it has a bigger camm and bigger injectors, and a newer ecm out of a 95 Corvette as well as a larger Throttle body. Other than the steering wheel (which she would not let me Re - dye) it's better looking on the inside than some of the new ones. It's got the factory alarm and a proximity alarm.
I luv canyon carving with it. It has enough power to break em loose anytime we want but it also has better traction and control than most I have ever driven.
Sorry if I am tooting my own horn too much but what can I say.
What did the lambo door kit take time wise to get it done I really like what you have done to yours. I'll bet it is a scream in nice weather

I like what you have done with the woofers and amp. Ive had 2 C-5 vettes and 1 1996 C-4. I loved my C-4 and your car brings back some good memories. Nice looking car.
